Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to share excellent news regarding Pakistan-Afghanistan transit trade:
The Government of Pakistan has officially eliminated the 10% duty on various transit trade items, significantly reducing the cost burden on traders and importers.
Furthermore, the requirement for a bank guarantee has been replaced with the previous system of insurance coverage. This change reintroduces flexibility, as insurance will now be optional for importers.
These policy adjustments are a major step forward in facilitating smoother and more cost-effective transit trade operations.
